West Parry Sound has nearly 2000 businesses; and 30 of those businesses employ 50 people or more. With a population that swells from 20K to 100K seasonally there are people to build for, and a large, competitive construction workforce to help you build, with over 20% of the workforce employed in trades in the West Parry Sound District.
Expansions are already underway at the Parry Sound Area Industrial Park and Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport and Business Park.
Industrial sites also exist here:
- Oastler Park Drive
- North Tudhope St.
A few success stories
Trestle Brewery
The 4000 sq. ft facility opened July 1, 2018 and includes a taproom serving year round beer offerings brewed on site as well as other seasonal special beers throughout the year. They have a full kitchen inside serving up a small, but delicious menu of food that pairs perfectly with our beer. The open concept design connects the brew house area on one end through their taproom/retail area, out onto their waterfront patio on the other end. Overlooking the Seguin River and Georgian Bay.
Crofter’s Organic
With the new building complete in the beginning of 2018 (and doing great things like reducing water consumption by over 85%), the Latkas—Gerhard, Gabi, Dan, Luke, Sebastian (and Bear)—know that the future is rosy. Even though Crofter’s has grown, changed, and improved, they still take joy in being involved in every facet of their spread and are confident they’ll still be at it many, many years from now. 1989 - present
